Engine was removed, painted and refreshed, with new gaskets, seals as well as hoses and belts less than 1,000 miles. Engine bay was painted at the same time car was painted.
Southern California car restored approx 2008, stored and covered indoors. Near flawless body and paint, lazer straight lines and gaps. Front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed and look incredible. Chrome headlights brows, original unrestored steering wheel and other features make this classic standout from other similar cars.
This Baby TBird has won numerous awards of excellence and trophies at local and major car shows. Single family owned and loved since 1988 in Southern California. 

All gauges including tach work properly. 12 volt conversion generator and voltage regulator. The car fires right up and runs great. It is comfortable at freeway and does not get hot. After market under dash temp gauge works perfectly.

No cracks on dash. Removable hardtop with port holes in excellent condition.
Solid floor, chrome is excellent, all exterior moldings, trim and emblems are in like new condition.
Odometer is non op and reads 7,710 miles / actual miles believed to be 107K+ miles on the engine and car.  

This is a stunning example of the 1st year design which for rushed to market to compete with the Corvette. The 1955 Thunderbird was designed by well known Legendary Designer Frank Hershey who designed Duesenberg's, Buicks, Packards, Peerless, Pontiacs, Cadillacs and Fords.  Little known story about this car is that Frank Hershey has been for more than few drives in this car. (See Images) The ash tray was also signed by Frank Hershey as well as other pictures with the car with Mr Hershey.

Disclosures: CD player and stereo are currently non operational, clock is non operational, transmission and engine have typical minimal fluid leaks after being driven.

This Baby Bird is a show car that will get tons of attention with top on or off. Easy and fun to drive, handles great and reliable to drive to shows and cruises. The level of restoration is a 9 out of 10 and the car show awards will continue to be presented to the next owner.
